| Directions:
Step 1 - Cut the rope to 18-inches in length.
Step 2 - Cut 3 to 4 long and strong pieces of greenery, approximately 8-inches in length and set aside.
Step 3 - Cut the rest of the greens and berries to approximately 6-inches in length.
Step 4 - Make a small bouquet using approximately 5 stems all the varieties of greens and berries selected.
Step 5 - Cut the ends of the flower stems very straight and finish the bouquet off with a complementary ribbon if desired.Start at one end of the rope, and lay the bouquet on top of the rope. To attach the bouquet to the rope, wind the wire around the stems of the bouquet and then around the rope several times. Pull the wire tight, but do not cut the wire. |
Step 6 - Position another bouquet so the tips overlap the stems of first bouquet and attach to the rope in the same manner as described in Step 5. |
Step 7 - To make the garland sturdy, attach one of the longer, stronger pieces of greenery on the backside of the rope. This larger piece of greenery should be the length of the two bouquets. |
Step 8 - Repeat this process, (two bouquets on the front, and one longer, stronger piece of greenery on the back) until the rope is filled with beautiful greens and berries. |
Step 9 - Tie off the wire by catching it under the last loop of wire securing the last small bouquet. |
Step 10 - Fill the watertubes with water and insert fresh cut flowers. Then insert them into the garland evenly. |
Step 11 - Insert wood pics (or cut up 4-inch lengths of skewers) into the fruit/veggies and insert them into the garland. |
