Materials:

- 1 sundae glass (If using a clear glass, a 1/2 cup of clear marbles is needed)
- 20 stems white button mums
- 1/2 brick of floral foam
- 5 to 6 white or pink standard carnations
- 1 real cherry, faux cherry, red grape or small red rose bud
- Approximately 10 large paper clips
- 2 plastic drinking straws
- Knife
- Floral clippers
- Floral preservative

| Directions:

Step 1 - Soak the floral foam in water that has been treated with floral preservative for at least 30 minutes.
|
|
|
Step 2 - If using clear glass sundae cup, fill three-quarters full with clear marbles.
|
|
|
Step 3 - Cut the foam so that it sits on top and slightly inside of the sundae glass.
|
|
|
Step 4 - Insert 2 plastic straws into the floral foam so that only half of the straw is exposed.
|
|
|
Step 5 - Cut the carnations to approximately 3-inches in length and insert them deeply into the floral foam. Try to keep a round ice-cream scoop shape.

|
|
Step 6 - Add one of any of the following items as a delicious sundae embellishment: real cherry, faux cherry, red grape or small red rose bud.
