Tissue Box Blooms - Recipe and Photos by Jill Slater
Tissue Box BloomsThe powder room is the perfect place for perfumed flowers. An unexpected flower vessel is a decorative tissue cover filled with fragrant blooms. These covers hide unsightly square Kleenex boxes and make nifty, unique containers in which to hold your favorite scented stems.

Materials:

Tissue Box Blooms
  • One square decorative tissue cover
  • One vase or water glass to fit underneath the decorative tissue cover
  • Approximately 8 stems of stock and 8 stems of roses. Select a color that complements your décor. Stock is primarily available in white, pink, peach, lavender, burgundy and yellow. Roses are grown in every color of the rainbow
  • Floral clippers
  • Floral preservative
Directions:
Step 1 - Fill a small vase or water glass with water and floral preservative.

Step 2 - Cover the vase or water glass with the tissue cover.

Step 3 - Now cut the flower stems to approximately 8-inches in length.
