Tower Of FlowersDon't feel like taking a lot of time, effort or expense to accent your home with color? Then allow a few fresh cut flowers to get the job done immediately, beautifully and inexpensively.

Two to five stems of blooms can transform your entire home into a bounty of bright, natural color and charm.

The two flower designs below can be placed anywhere in the home that you are. From bed to bath, coffee tables to kitchen counter tops, Flowers are Alive with Possibilities.

Tower of Flowers
Round glass bowls of the same size can become an instant floral display. Each small container holds just one bloom each, but when stacked, they become a tower of flowers.

Materials:

  • Two 4-inch diameter glass condiment bowls or two 4-inch glass bubble bowls of the same size and style
  • Two gerbera daisies (Let your home décor dictate the color or multiple colors used in the bowls)
  • Floral clippers
  • Floral preservative
Directions:
Step 1 - Fill each bowl half full of water and just a bit of floral preservative.

Step 2 - Cut off the stems on each gerbera daisy and float one gerbera in each bowl.

Step 3 - Stack the bowls on top of eachother.


Tower Of FlowersSphere of Freesias
A large glass bubble holds about five stems of flowering freesias. They are easily wound inside the bowl to reveal their delicate and fragrant blooms.

 

Materials:

  • 10- to 12-inch glass bubble bowl
  • 5 stems of freesia. Freesia grow in the following colors, select a hue that matches your own décor- white, yellow, lavender, orange and red
  • Floral clippers
  • Floral preservative
Directions:
Step 1 - Fill the bowl one-quarter full with water that has been treated with floral preservative.

Step 2 - Cut the freesia at varying lengths, leaving them long enough to swirl in the bowl on the bottom, sides and way up top.
