The first day of spring in March 20th! Everything is turning green- leaves, plants and even flowers! That's right the blooms themselves are now growing in lively shades of green.
The color green is now very much in season and in vogue, it's the new orange! Look for green carnations, chrysanthemums and even roses.
To keep green or any color bloom fresh, use water tubes. Small water viles are very handy for the home floral designer. They keep flowers in place while also keeping the flowers fresh. Water tubes or water viles are available wherever you buy your flowers.
Use water tubes in bowls of fruit with flowers, adhere them to picture frames and even attach them to curtain tiebacks. Water tubes give way to many possibilities for flowers to brighten every space in the house.

Fresh Cuts for Curtains -

It's certain that curtains are for flowers. Just fill a water tube with water and a single flower. Then attach the flower-filled tube to the curtain tieback. Wire or cording may be just the right touch to keep the flower in place.
