Luv Bubble - Recipe by Jill Slater

Materials:

Luv Bubble
  • 8-inch bubble bowl
  • 2 dozen roses, Jill used a combination of red, hot pink and orangey/pink varieties
  • 10 stems Queen Anne's Lace or other filler of your choice
  • Bowl tape or regular scotch tape
  • Floral clippers and floral food/preservative
Directions:
Step 1 - Fill the container full of water that has been treated with floral food/preservative.

Step 2 - To hold the flowers in place, make a grid over the top of the bubble bowl with bowl tape or scotch tape. The grid is created by placing 4 lines of tape over the top of the bowl, first in one direction and 4 lines of tape in the other direction.

Step 3 - Fill the Luv Bowl with rose blooms by cutting them to approximately 8- to 9-inches in length. Insert the stems into the tape grid.

Step 4 - Now cut the Queen Anne's Lace (or other filler) slightly shorter than the roses and rim the roses with this filler.
