Chopsticks Centerpiece - Recipe and Photos by Jill Slater
"Anything that holds water can hold flowers," that's the perfect mantra for creating everyday arrangements for the home or office.
For an Asian flair employ chopsticks to hold a flower in place. So, if you are tired of the same old humdrum containers try using a rice bowl or any small bowl that coordinates well with a pair of chopsticks. Such a simple arrangement is eye-catching and stylish.
Materials:
- One, 6-inch diameter bowl.
- One pair of chopsticks.
- One gerbera daisy, standard carnation or large spider chrysanthemum.
- Floral Clippers.
| Directions:
Step 1 - Fill the bowl with fresh water.
Step 2 - Next, place the chopsticks side by side across the top of the bowl.
Step 3 - Now slip the flowers' stem through the chopsticks. The chopsticks will support the impressive blossom.
My best, Jill Slater
