Materials:

- 1 Teapot
- Approximately 5 stems each - pink alstroemeria and lavender freesia
- Optional- 1 rubberband
- Floral clippers, knife and flower food/preservative

| Criss-cross Method Directions:

Step 1 - Fill the teapot with water that has been treated with flower food/preservative.
|
|
|
Step 2 - Cut the stems about an inch longer than the height of the teapot.
|
|
|
Step 3 - Remove any leaves/foliage that will be below the water line.
|
|
|
Step 4 - Criss-cross the stems in the bottom of the teapot. This will make a web to hold the flowers in place.

| Rubberbanded Bouquet Directions:

|
Step 1 - Fill the teapot with water that has been treated with flower food/preservative.
|
|
|
Step 2 - Remove any leaves/foliage that will be below the water line.
|
|
|
Step 3 - If you are right handed, hold the flowers in your left hand (vice-versa if you are left handed). Hold the flowers just under their blooms.
|
|
|
Step 4 - Each flower is added so that the blooms are at the same height. Try to make a round shaped bouquet.
|
|
|
Step 5 - Rubberband the bouquet together and then cut the stems to the height of the teapot.
|
|
|
Step 6 - Check the water level daily and add water treated with flower food/preservative, as needed.
