Fresh Flower Bar - Recipe by Jill Slater

Materials:

- Clear salad bowl, Lucite or glass
- Salad tongs
- Approximately one dozen flower blossoms, just the heads of the flowers are needed. Toss in a few greens too.
- Jill's is made with orange gerbera daisies, yellow daisy mums, blue iris, casa rosa lilies, red carnations, delphinium sprigs, pink roses, leather fern and lily grass.
- Floral clippers and floral preservative

Step 1 - Fill just the very bottom of the salad bowl with water that has been treated with floral preservative.
|
|
|
Step 2 - Cut the stems off the flowers and begin lining the bottom and sides of the bowl. Throw in your greens too.
|
|
|
Step 3 - When the bottom half of the bowl is completely filled with blossoms toss in the salad tongs.
