Materials:

- 12-inch white basket with handle
- Liner for basket bottom
- One 8-inch needle point ivy plant (variegated or plain)
- 10 roses in pastel colors
- 10 water tubes
- 1 yard of 2-inch decorative ribbon
- Floral clippers and floral preservative

| Directions:

Step 1 - Insert the plant liner and then insert the plant in the basket.

|
|
Step 2 - Wind some of the ivy lengths around the basket handle. The ivy lengths will mostly likely stay put by themselves.
|
|
|
Step 3 - Fill the water tubes with water that has been treated with floral preservative.
|
|
|
Step 4 - Now cut the roses to approximately 4-inches in length and insert them into the water tubes.
|
|
|
Step 5 - Insert the water-tubed roses into the ivy plant.
|
|
|
Step 6 - Tie the decorative ribbon around the handle of the basket.
