- 3 pumpkins of descending size (5, 8 and 10-inch diameters respectively)
- Fat permanent marker pen
- One 10-inch tall x 10-inch diameter clay pot
- Large plastic garbage bag to line clay pot
- 4 bricks floral foam
- 3 handfuls green sheet moss
- 6 sunflowers
- 5 stems variegated pittosporum
- 3 stems seeded eucalyptus
- 3 stems lily grass
- 1 wood pic with wire
- Floral preservative, clippers, scissors and knife
| Directions:
Step 1 - With permanent marker write your address on the clay pot. Write large enough so that the address is visible from the street.
Step 2 - Soak the floral foam in water that has been treated with floral preservative for at least 30 minutes.
Step 3 - Cut and line the clay pot with the garbage bag; then cut the wet floral foam to fit the interior of the pot. The foam should meet the rim of the pot.
Step 4 - To hide the garbage bag, tuck moss between the pot and the floral foam.
Step 5 - Set the large pumpkin in the center of the pot; on top of the foam. Now cut the sunflowers to approximately 3-inches in length and then insert them evenly around the rim of the pot. Next, insert the greenery between the flowers.
Step 6 - Towards the front of the pot, insert the lily grass as a group into the floral foam. Use the wood pick with wire to hold the ends of the lily grass; then insert the pick into the foam.
Step 7 - Stack the medium and small pumpkin on top of the large one.
