Flower Promotion Organization Announces New Web Link Policy

The Flower Promotion Organization (FPO) is enjoying resounding success with ever increasing traffic to its www.flowerpossibilities.com and www.flowrMD.com sites. With its widely viewed flower care & handling tips sections, flower recipes and encyclopedia, podcasts and other creative ideas showing consumers how to better incorporate flowers into their everyday lives and lifestyles, traffic has increased 85% and page views have increased nearly 100% according to a recent Alexa* traffic ranking report. Under this new policy the FPO will allow reciprocal links to those in the floriculture industry wishing to do so, effective immediately.

"Getting traffic to your web site is one of the keys to both increasing viewership of what your web site offers and in raising your display rankings on the major search engines like Google, MSN or Yahoo." stated Will Carlson, Managing Director of the FPO. "This change in policy will expand this opportunity and allow us to establish reciprocal links from the FPO sites to those of floral and allied industry company and organization web sites which will provide a service to our viewers and help us all in the web rankings."

Stan Pohmer, Executive Director of the FPO, commented, "There's benefit for our industry in giving consumers easy access to quality information and that's always been our goal with our web sites. Providing reciprocal links only makes it easier for the consumer to gain this access with fewer mouse clicks on their part."

To establish reciprocal links between the FPO sites and your company or organization, just complete the request form on the www.flowerpossibilities.com home page and submit it on-line. The FPO will review your request to make sure all sites meet their terms of service to ensure that only reputable companies and organizations are listed, and provide you with the logos and technical set up information to create the links.

"The web has become an important and effective way of communicating with the consumer and this new reciprocal linking policy will enhance the on-line experience for them. Working together, we can all improve our consumer reach and access," said Will Carlson.
