Origins Tuberoses are fragrant members of the Agavaceae family. Their botanical name comes from the Greek words polis, which means "shining" or "white," and anthos, which means "flower." The single- or double-flowered blooms feature clustered spikes of waxy, white tubular flowers. The herbaceous perennials are native to Mexico.
Availability and Vase Life February to October. 7-10 days.
Design Uses Highly fragrant. Tuberose is useful in wedding and corsage work.
