Origins Included among the bountiful number of summertime blooms is that of the herbaceous perennial, phlox. The name phlox is a Latin word for "flower" or "flame," which comes from the Greek word meaning "wallflower." Phlox is a member of the Polemoniaceae family and is a native North American plant.
Availability and Vase Life July through September. 7-10 days.
Design Uses Phlox is especially effective in garden style arrangements. Works as filler or to add height in arrangments.
