Fresh Flowers Put Us In The Mood To Celebrate

When the days are their shortest and we are in the mood to celebrate, nothing adds an elegant touch like fresh flowers. You might stay traditional with red mini-carnations and white pompon chrysanthemums accented by festive greenery. Take special care to keep lit candles away from cut flowers & greens, and know that arrangements with fresh fruit (apples, oranges, etc.) won't last as long as arrangements without fruit. White lilies can elevate your dinner party to gourmet-level, for a bit of a change. Their fragrance can be captivating as well. Single stems in crystal vases are stunning. Plum and gold can also be an upscale change from traditional red and green. Why not use purple mini-carnations and gold chrysanthemums arranged in a teacup for your next party. You could give it as a party favor or purchase a china teacup and make it a memorable gift to treasure for years!
