Spring into color with bright, fragrant lilies. Enchantment lilies and Asiatic lilies are great colorful spring choices for every room and every décor. While pollen from the anthers can stain fabrics, you can easily avoid those stains by removing the anthers that hold the yellow or orange pollen. Use a tissue or rubber glove to avoid staining your fingers, and gently pull the yellow or orange part (anther) off the stem-like part (filament) and discard. Removing the pollen source will also keep those lilies lasting a bit longer, along with the properly measured amount of floral preservative.
