Create some of your own with bold, jewel colored flowers and some glittering gold or silver spray paint. Rich purple carnations can be tinted with gold glitter spray paint. Cover your hand with a disposable glove, wear eye protection and don't breathe the fumes. Then, gently hold the bloom in the palm of your covered hand with just the tips of the petals showing. Give those tips one short mist of glitter paint and gently let the bloom unfurl. Arrange spaciously in some drinking glasses until the blooms dry (filled with some water and fresh flower food), then re-arrange into your holiday container. It's fun and creates a festive look for this holiday month.
