Giving thanks for all the good things in life is a big part of celebrations this month. Be sure fresh flowers are a part of your bountiful harvest decorations. They cheer you up on gray days and remind us of sunshine to come. Deep russet pompon chrysanthemums can be adorned with small yellow button mums for a rich festive display. Soak a floral foam block in warm water and preservative, wrap in plastic wrap, and insert it in a basket laying on its side. Insert fresh flowers so they appear to be spilling out onto the table. Orange lilies make a special addition to the display. Set it on a mirror for an even bigger splash!
