Thamil, Jasmine flowers do give off a fragrance when they open and are warmed (come to room temperature). If you want to keep the buds closed, you can keep them cool, about 45°F. There is nothing to prevent them from opening. If you want to open them faster, keep them in the preservative solution and put them in a room that is 60F to 75°F and they will open fairly quickly. I’m not sure exactly what you mean by position, but I suspect it means opening. Keep them cool to keep the buds tight.
